LA Update April 26, 2008

LA was great! Everything that I wanted to get done, got done. Got contacts and new glasses, had lunch with K and her family, then dinner with AI in Ktown. I ordered a chinese/korean  dish called ‘Sam Song Cham Bong’ and ‘Chia Chiang mein’ a noodle with black bean sauce. Later on, I went to pick Mike up and we headed over to Hotel Figueroa. Oh how I miss LA sooo much. We got there, and had some drinks in the outdoor area by the swimming pool. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from the typical glam, LA crowd. People there were  a bit more low key. I love outdoor bars and the great part is that there were plenty of heat lamps and lots of tables to choose from. It was lovely and all in the backdrop of the LA skyline.

I still have yet to go to The Abbey. Maybe next time…

After that we went to Hodori for some good ol’ Ktown grub. Just cant get enough of that Had the tofu of course, and kalbi.

Next morning was spent with AT (honorary sister) and family. We went to eat at Baccali’s (I am so out of the loop with the latest and greatest SGV restaurants…) and then got some boba. Danced around with my neices and played Guitar Hero. The night ended with dinner at Lee Kum Kee. It was a great weekend…
