Now I am not a photography expert but photography is one of my hobbies. I just wanted to let you know that while you may want an actual model for jewelery, I thought that in the mean time at least you could probably do a better job with the photos you take yourself without a model by adding some better lighting. With things as simply as White Styrofoam, Cardboard, or constrcution paper, you can create remove some of the harsh shadow you have. And if you are able to, try taking the photos on a table using sunlight, in the yard or near a window to have a whiter light source and less glare/flash.
